Founded in 2011 by Byju Raveendran, BYJU’S (Think & Learn Pvt Ltd) focused on the K 12 segment. Through personalised learning experiences that adapt to every type of learner, we have changed the way students and parents perceive learning. BYJU’S The Learning App was launched in 2015 with a mission to make quality content and expert teachers more accessible. The app saw over three million downloads within the first two months of the launch.
BYJU’S became the first company in Asia to receive investment from the Chan Zuckerberg initiative. In 2017, BYJU’S The Learning App became a Harvard Business School Case Study as an example of how technology makes learning more impactful and accessible among students. The app has brought forth a new way of learning - one that’s geography-agnostic and that sits at the cross section of highly adaptive learning methodologies and engaging, interactive content.
