Back Yard Burgers, Inc. is a regional franchise chain of quick serve restaurants. Its headquarters is located in Nashville, Tennessee. As of November 2014, there were 65 locations in the Southern and Midwestern United States, chiefly in Tennessee and Mississippi. In August 2008, there had been 171 locations.Although it is the most common commercial breed in the country, the franchise's marketing tries to distinguish itself from other hamburger chains by the use of 100% Black Angus Beef.
