BenefitsAt Columbia Sportswear Company (CSC), we aim to connect active people with their passions–passions that carry you far beyond work.
To get the most out of life and work no matter where your passions take you, you need to feel your best — physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and financially. Our Total Rewards package includes the programs and plans you'd expect, such as current market-competitive compensation, 401k, and health benefits. What makes us different is that employee wellbeing is the foundation of our Total Rewards philosophy.
While most corporate wellbeing programs focus on medical-based wellness initiatives, at CSC we believe wellbeing must also be considered holistically. So, we align our benefits, compensation, and employee programs against the five fundamental elements of wellbeing to ensure that you can be your best self–how you occupy your time, upholding strong relationships, how you manage your economic life, having good health, and a sense of engagement in your neighborhood.

The outdoors is diverse. In nature, different colors, shapes and species thrive due to their diversity. Diverse perspectives lead to creativity and innovation. Equity leads to empowerment. Inclusion leads to teamwork. We’ve grown from a family business to a global company because we understand what it takes to flourish.
Since 1938, we have been making clothing and footwear so that more people can enjoy the outdoors. We connect active people with their passions across race, ethnicity, gender, ability, religion and sexual orientation. Doing the right thing for our consumers, customers, employees, the company and our communities is one of our core values. We are dedicated to creating a company that is diverse, equitable and inclusive because one thing that we can all agree on is the outdoors is for all of us.

At Columbia Sportswear Company, we invest in initiatives that have a positive impact on the people we reach, the places we touch, and the products we make.
By working with organizations such as Fair Trade, Planet Water, and HERproject, we invest in services that strengthen the communities of people working across our supply chain by providing access to services and programs. While focusing on the communities that our supply chain occupies, CSC aims to nurture our community's respect for local culture as well. By creating programs such as It’s Great Out There Coalition, Climb United, Open Aperture, and more, we aim to bolster a community focused on outdoor participation, access, and stewardship, as well as community support.
While being mindful of our communities, CSC recognizes that global climate change requires a collective response for mitigation and adaptation as it affects our communities, ecosystems, and outdoor participation. CSC has committed to a 30% reduction in Scope 3 manufacturing emissions by 2030 and allocated manufacturing partner facility water usage decreased by about 40% from 2020.
