The Ace Hardware Corporation is a retailers' cooperative based in Oak Brook, Illinois, United States. As of 2015, it has over 4,600 locations, and does over $13 billion in retail hardware sales annually.
We are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community. Ace Hardware has over 5,000 stores around the world with the majority of those stores independently owned and operated by local entrepreneurs. Founded in 1924 by a small group of Chicago hardware store owners, Ace changed the retail landscape by allowing individual stores to purchase merchandise in bulk to save money and buy at the lowest possible price. This partnership enabled even the smaller stores to compete effectively at retail despite larger stores in their market. And to this very day, Ace Hardware Corporation is still owned solely and exclusively by the local Ace retail entrepreneurs.

Through Ace retailers and customers, vendor partners, and Corporate team members, we have raised over $100 million for CMN Hospitals and have supported the American Red Cross through both monetary and product donations when a disaster strikes.

Ace stores support their local CMN Hospitals in a variety of ways including our Miracle Bucket promotion, change round up at the register, in-store fundraising events and more. And just like Ace, CMN Hospitals are local – which means the money raised at your neighborhood Ace goes to your local CMN Hospital.
Ace Cares for Kids
Each year, Ace selects a patient who was treated at their local CMN Hospital to serve as the ambassador for Ace’s fundraising efforts for the year. This year, Ace selected Avery Kazakewicz being treated at UPMC Children’s.
American Red Cross
Ace Hardware is proud to partner with the American Red Cross during disaster relief efforts. From small house fires to multi-state natural disasters, the American Red Cross goes wherever they are needed, so people can have clean water, safe shelter and hot meals when they need them most.
Ace Shootout
The annual Ace Shootout brings together sports greats to compete in fun challenges. Rivalries and hilarity will be in full force all the while the players raise funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®.
