Our History
Founded in 1912, Paramount Pictures works with the entertainment industry’s biggest filmmakers and brightest stars to produce and distribute entertainment around the world. The iconic Paramount logo has opened some of the most successful and beloved films in cinematic history, including timeless classics such as Sunset Boulevard, The Godfather, Forrest Gump and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; and blockbuster franchises such as Star Trek, Transformers, and Mission: Impossible. Recent innovative break-out films such as Interstellar, Arrival, A Quiet Place and Rocketman have further elevated  Paramount’s film legacy. On the small screen, Paramount Television Studios’ Defending Jacob, 13 Reasons Why, The Alienist: Angel of Darkness and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan have also been thrilling audiences.

The Page Program

The Paramount Pictures Page Program aims to provide talented individuals with the hands-on experience they need to be successful in the entertainment business. This prestigious program serves as an ongoing talent pipeline for Paramount, where more than 60% of Page graduates have moved into full-time positions within the Paramount family. Pages' main responsibility is to provide professional studio tours to paying guests as well as studio executives. The Page Program is also designed to serve as a modern day "Mail Room," focusing on the business end of the studio and frequently placing talented Pages in entry-level administrative positions on the lot. The program lasts between 18 and 24 months.

Volunteerism

The Kindergarten to Cap and Gown program offers Paramount employees an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the life of a student through mentoring, reading, career exploration and other volunteer activities.
