Where it all started
It all started in 1959 when J. Peter Noonan, Sr. opened a heating oil and ice delivery business. Today, J.P. Noonan Transportation, Inc. is the largest petroleum transportation company in New England maintaining ten facilities in five of six New England states. What drives such growth? In our case, it's a company-wide commitment to reliability, safety and customer satisfaction.
Safety: Our Top Priority
Safety Department Function

The Safety Department is responsible for all terminals; responding to and coordinating accidents, spills and other incidents. The Safety Department mitigates these incidents from inception through restoration and legal conclusion, while coordinating with insurance companies. Training is accomplished through periodic safety meetings- with specific training to maintain compliance with Federal, State and local regulations. We have a comprehensive program to keep worker's injuries to a minimum while administering an aggressive back-to-work program. All drivers are subject to a strict Drug and Alcohol program in compliance with Federal Guidelines.
