About ATAP
ATAP, Inc. is an employee owned small business located in Eastaboga, Alabama that is primarily involved in providing vehicle and ground support equipment (GSE) manufacturing, remanufacturing services, and part sales to the United States Department of Defense (US DOD), Foreign Militaries (through the US DOD and other Prime Contractors), and the military aircraft manufacturers.
ATAP, Inc.'s mission is to provide equipment maintainers with the assistance needed to increase vehicle reliability and uptime. ATAP has an experienced technical support staff that can cut through the clutter and deliver the parts you need, quickly and conveniently packaged, anywhere the mission takes you. We draw from over 50 years of GSE depot overhaul experience to forecast and stock items that our military customers routinely rely upon and have an extensive vendor support network at our disposal. We stock a full line of refueler parts, fire rescue vehicle parts, hydrant service vehicle parts and many other components to support vehicles on the flight line.
ATAP, Inc. presently holds USAF contracts to perform depot overhaul on A/S32R-11 (R-11 Refueler) and A/S32R-12 (R-12 Hydrant Truck) refueling vehicles and a contract with the USMC to perform IROAN for the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) COUGAR CAT I A1 ISS. We provide all branches of the U.S. Military with specialized remanufacturing services and technical support for crash trucks, firefighting trucks, aircraft cargo loaders, refueling trucks, hydraulic test stands, bomb loaders and other ground support equipment (GSE). ATAP, Inc. is a time tested supplier of GSE, replacement parts, and stocks over 25,000 specialty items to support our military customers.
An ability to engineer, manufacture, test, support and source a diverse mix of flight line components sets ATAP apart in our industry. We manufacture many components for the USAF legacy vehicle fleet and a wide range of GSE test and maintenance equipment. We continue to support the legacy aircraft cargo loaders, crash trucks and fire trucks in an OEM capacity due to the critical role this equipment provides to the U.S Armed Services. ATAP has a team of qualified engineers who have designed, implemented and completed various technically challenging projects for our U.S. Military customers. Our engineers are trained to construct MIL-SPEC Technical Manuals (TMs) with Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs), Operations Instructions, as well as Maintenance and Overhaul Manuals.
