Yokogawa's Purpose
Measurement, which is where Yokogawa got its start so many years ago, and the connection of information, organizations, and industries are and always will remain core competences through which we add value. Under the corporate brand slogan of Co-innovating tomorrow, we provide solutions that are helping to create a future where humanity and planet Earth can co-exist in symbiotic harmony.
Yokogawa's Core Values
Respect, Integrity, Value Creation, Collaboration and Gratitude are our core values and the human connections which bring the people of Yokogawa together. We know the true importance of human connection: "I am because we are".
Open Process Automation
Creating an open, integrated landscape for operations technology is a major step-change. It demands disruption.

Exxon is co-innovating with Yokogawa on a field trial readiness testbed to upgrade an existing facility's automation system to open process automation. This architecture removes the limitations of proprietary platforms and provides interoperability and interchangeability among equipment from multiple suppliers. Instead of needing a complete replacement, the system can evolve over its lifetime through inexpensive, partial migrations.
Our Social Mission
Industrial Autonomy is about the transition from industrial automation to industrial autonomy with the purpose of efficient and smarter plant operations by adding layers of intelligent sensing and machine cognition to anticipate and adapt to both known and unforeseen circumstances, removing the need for constant human intervention.
