What if we were all brave enough to put our truest selves out there? To show 'em what we're really made of - our inner strength, our hidden talents, our crazy ideas, our heart and soul, our beautiful imperfections. These are the things that make us, us. These are our unique gifts to the world. #ShowEm your Jockey #ShowEm what's underneath.
Employee Support & VolunteerismJockey has been caring for and providing comfort to our communities and employees for over a century. With a passion to serve others, we work to help support, educate, and strengthen kids and families across the country. Whether that’s through our foundation’s mission to fund and support post-adoption initiatives or by rolling up our sleeves to lend a helping hand, giving back is at the core of who we are and what we do.
Jockey employees are the heart and soul of the company and can share their time, talent, and treasures with others. Automatic giving to Jockey Being Family Foundation can be chosen with a charitable paycheck deduction and is an easy way for employees to make a difference. But annually, Jockey employees graciously donate over 1000 hours of service with opportunities that include:
Building and delivering beds for children sleeping on the floor
Volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club
Packing meals to support families in need
Building homes through Habitat for Humanity
Hosting our annual Golf and Undie Run fundraisers
Providing adoptive family events such as baseball games, holiday events and more
Packing out backpacks for adoptive families
Tying fleece blankets for our Jockey Being Family backpack program

“Adoption is not an event; it is a lifelong journey. In 2005, Debra S. Waller founded Jockey Being Family Foundation, to strengthen adoptive families by providing funding and support for post-adoption services on both a local and national level.
As a family-owned company, this cause naturally reflects our values and dedication to providing comfort to all the lives we touch.
Jockey Being Family believes that every child deserves to grow up with a loving family in a forever home, and every family deserves the support and resources they need to remain strong and successful together. Sadly, without crucial post-adoption services, families are at risk of dissolving.
As Jockey Chairman and CEO Debra S. Waller, who was adopted as an infant, stated “One failed adoption is one too many.”
