Become a Border Patrol Agent
As a Border Patrol Agent, you are focused 24/7 on securing our international land border and coastal waters. You're playing a crucial role in safeguarding the American people from terrorism, drug smuggling, and illegal entry of undocumented aliens.

Border Patrol Agents use a variety of technology and tools to carry out their mission. Border Patrol Agents also specialize in various programs, such as tactical units, the Honor Guard, and Peer Support Program.

As a CBP officer, you will secure the border and prevent drug smuggling while enforcing immigration laws, protecting agriculture, and ensuring trade compliance.
Join Air and Marine Operations
Air and Marine Operations (AMO)'s cadre of approximately 1,800 air and marine interdiction agents, aviation enforcement agents, and mission support personnel conduct their mission in the air and maritime environments at and beyond the border, and within the nation's interior. AMO agents operate 240 aircraft and 300 marine vessels to interdict unlawful people and cargo approaching U.S. borders; investigate criminal networks; and provide domain awareness in the air and maritime environments.
