About Metropolis Resort
The multiple award winning Metropolis Resort was completed in 2009. The Metropolis Resort is an all inclusive destination resort, located in Eau Claire, in northwestern Wisconsin. It has served guests from around the world, and is a favorite of performers and celebrities attending the nearby Country Jam. Located only 90 minutes east of the Twin Cities and La Crosse, it offers the most unique getaways for families in the region.
The resort includes:
Action City features a 55,000 square foot Family Fun Center and a 30,000 square foot Trampoline Park. Fun Center attractions include the largest indoor go-kart track in the Midwest, batting cages, bumper cars, climbing wall, laser tag, laser maze, mini bowling, outdoor mini golf and the most popular video and redemption arcade games around. Trampoline Park activities include dodgeball, open jump, air bag jump, slam dunk basketball, Ninja Warrior courses, slack line, fidget ladder, gladiator joust and an indoor "soft play" playground.
Chaos Water Park; a 35,000 square foot water park with 3 multi-story slides, a lazy river, activity pool, double hot tub, lily pad rope course, kids wading pool and unique water features.
Metropolis Hotel (the heart of the resort); The Metropolis is the most environmentally green resort in Wisconsin, drawing its heat from the water park, and utilizing numerous energy saving measures. It's award winning designer theme is one of a kind, and draws themes from urban settings.
The Metropolis Resort is locally owned and managed and has become the center of the region's tourism opportunities. Crew Members form the backbone of our operation and are vital to our team. Attractions, Housekeeping and Lifeguard Attendant are the starting point for all new Crew Members and offers excellent opportunity to advance into other departments.
The daily outlook for a Crew Member changes based on the level of business for that day. One of the benefits of this position is that no two days are the same! During downtime Crew Members are entrusted to help maintain cleanliness of all Resort public areas and the Resort, as well as other duties assigned by Management. Crew Members will be required to run point-of-sale systems and handle cash. In addition, Crew Members will be required to help in food service preparation and table service. During peak business hours Crew Members are assigned to various areas within the Resort and will maintain order, throughput, and safe operation of the area assigned.

Metropolis Resort and what it offers all started with Action City. First built in 2005, Action City paved the way for what has now become a center for all family fun. Since then, we have expanded adding a hotel, indoor water park, and trampoline park. In preparation for our most recent expansion, 50 new employees were hired in late 2016. Since the start of the year, we’ve grown from 270 to 350 employees.
With more fun in the works, Metropolis Resort has no plans of slowing down.

Our Metropolis Resort Housekeepers enjoy flexible scheduling, work in teams or solo, and enjoy regular hours. Our Housekeeping staff forms the backbone of our Hotel Operation. The Housekeeping position requires individuals with an attention to detail, ability to multitask, and love cleaning!
