Just Kids Early Childhood Learning Center
About Just Kids Early Childhood Learning Center
Just Kids’ philosophy and mission statement was developed on the notion of “whole child” development (1979) in an inclusionary environment. The mission of the program is based on developmentally appropriate early childhood philosophy that supports the importance of early childhood learning experiences including play and a planned program that supports the needs of young children and their families.
Just Kids believes that all children can learn and that learning occurs in all areas of development – social, emotional, cognitive, linguistic, and physical. Just Kids believes that all areas of development are interrelated and interdependent and that learning occurs at different rates for different children and that the child’s early learning environment and experiences significantly impact on their lifelong development.
Just Kids believes that the best outcomes for children occur when families and professionals work together in partnership to meet the unique needs of the child and family.
