Eagle Valley Children's Home

The Nevada Children’s Foundation, Inc., (dba) Eagle Valley Children's Home, is a private, not-for-profit organization which exists to support programs providing the highest quality service to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These services include a residential program at Eagle Valley Children's Home and a respite program provided in the family’s home.
The Residential Program at Eagle Valley Children's Home provides individualized skill training in a caring and home-like environment. Our philosophy is person-centered, and based on respect for each individual’s capabilities and civil rights. We are committed to promoting each person’s competence and quality of life, thereby supporting continued development in the most appropriate environment.
The Respite Program provides support to families or primary caregivers of people with developmental disabilities through temporary, short-term care of the dependent person in the family’s home. Both planned and emergency respites are available to reduce stress and prevent unwanted placement outside the family’s home.
