McFarland Cascade

Some builders think it "wooden" be a project without McFarland Cascade. The company produces wood and composite products including pressure-treated utility poles, crossarms, lumber, and plywood. McFarland Cascade also packages and distributes consumer-oriented outdoor living products and develops computer software packages for assisting consumers in designing, estimating, and constructing such outdoor projects as decks. The company sells to customers in the US, Canada, the Middle East, and Asia, and operates four treating facilities in the Northwest and Mississippi. Founded in 1916, McFarland Cascade has agreed to be acquired by Stella-Jones Inc. for about $250 million.
