PTI Transportation

PTI operates as a specialized transportation service for the railroad and other industries. Our drivers provide safe, reliable transportation to shuttle client employees where they need to go. PTI drivers provide service in two ways, over-the-road drivers (OTR) and dedicated yard van drivers (DYV).OTR drivers typically take longer trips, sometimes hundreds of miles, to take passengers where they need to be. OTR drivers work in an on-call basis, typically taking a 12-hour window of availability in which, they can be called for trips anytime. Though their trips may be longer, these drivers are still home every day, with no overnight stays. DYV drivers take shorter trips, but more of them. They are often based in a railroad yard, transporting crews within the yard or to other parts of the city they are in.Who are our drivers? Our team crosses all demographics. We look for individuals with a strong customer service focus, dedication to safety, and attention to detail. We have drivers who work for us full-time as their primary job as well as many others who work part-time to have a flexible schedule. We also have many drivers who are retired but work for us to supplement their income and keep themselves busy.
