For college students who would like to take a closer look at career opportunities within the petrochemicals industry, Westlake Chemical sponsors internship programs within a variety of departments such as: Engineering, Operations, Chemistry, Procurement, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Information Systems, Accounting and Human Resources. Participants may intern as Maintenance Engineers, Operators, Lab Technicians, Analysts, just to name a few. In these positions, they will gain a better understanding of Westlake's business and learn more about its people and culture. Internship assignments mirror the experience and responsibilities of Westlake professionals and provide exposure to other functions. The hands-on experience is both challenging and rewarding, and provides the potential for valuable reinforcement to support career aspirations.
