KOYO SEIKO WAS FOUNDED IN 1921 BY MR. IKEDA. IN THE DECENNIA THAT FOLLOWED IT HAS BECOME ONE OF THE WORLD’S LEADING MANUFACTURERS OF BEARINGS AND AUTOMOTIVE STEERING SYSTEMS.

With the merge of Koyo Seiko Co., Ltd. and Toyoda Machine works, Ltd. on January 1, 2006 JTEKT came into existence. Nowadays with a Head Office in Osaka, Japan, JTEKT has global operations in Europe, Asia, U.S and Latin America.
