About Irving Oil
Every day since 1924, we’ve been proud to bring good energy to our customers and our communities. Beginning as a small service station in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, our company has grown into an international refining and marketing company.
Today, our family-owned energy company operates Canada’s largest refinery in Saint John, New Brunswick, along with more than 900 fueling locations, Big Stop restaurants and a network of distribution terminals throughout Eastern Canada and New England. We also deliver heating fuel to customers throughout these regions.
In 2016, we welcomed the Whitegate refinery, Ireland’s only refinery, to our organization. In 2019, we expanded our presence in Ireland with Top Oil – a leading supplier of home heating oil, petrol and diesel fuel – joining our team. We also have an office in London, England, and tankage in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
