Our Ambition
From the beginning, Tory’s vision was to start a company to drive social change. Her concept—a lifestyle collection with a designer aesthetic at an accessible price point—was as ambitious as her sense of purpose: to build a best-in-class business that would, in success, help move the needle for women and create an equal and better world. This ambition echoes across everything Tory Burch does. It is also woven into the company culture, grounded in the ideals instilled in Tory by her parents and known as the Buddy Values.
Empowering Women
When Tory started our company from her kitchen table in 2004, giving back was part of her business plan. In 2009, she launched the Tory Burch Foundation, advancing women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship by providing access to capital, education and digital resources, as well as an annual Fellows program. The Capital Program, powered by Bank of America, has distributed more than $75 million in loans to nearly 4,800 women entrepreneurs. The Foundation’s global initiative #EmbraceAmbition, launched in 2017 to address the double standard that exists around ambition, challenges unconscious bias, and encourages women everywhere to own their power, their drive and their dreams.
Careers
Tory Burch understands that a company’s greatest asset is its people and invests in our team’s future by offering exciting opportunities to grow and evolve through coaching as well as professional development experiences and training. Complementing the Buddy Values, Admired Leadership is the cornerstone of our professional development culture, unifying expectations around how leaders inspire and motivate their teams while providing them with tools to perform at the highest level. Our company aspires to create admired leaders on every team in every region around the world.
Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity—recognizing and respecting what makes each of us unique—is a core value at Tory Burch, reflected in the Tory Burch Foundation’s #EmbraceAmbition global initiative, which has evolved into a movement addressing harmful stereotypes around gender, race and sexuality. The company’s internal Color Brave programming has been a critical part of its ongoing effort to ensure that every team member feels seen, valued and inspired to perform at their best. It is committed to having courageous conversations about unconscious bias, and to recruiting, developing and retaining teams that mirror the beautiful diversity of the world.
Life Here
From the beginning, Tory was intent on creating a company culture based on kindness, respect and excellence. The “Buddy Values,” named after her father, Buddy Robinson, are our guiding principles, fostering a collaborative environment where people can do great work, have great relationships and show up as the best version of themselves. Each year, team members who embody the Buddy Values are recognized as Buddy Award Winners.

Giving back is also integral to our culture. The Tory Burch Foundation provides numerous volunteer opportunities from working at the biennial Embrace Ambition Summit to reviewing applications for the annual Fellows Program and advising entrepreneurs. In addition, team members are able to take paid time off to work for causes they care passionately about through the annual Multicultural Day benefit.

Tory Burch offers a generous benefits package including:
• Healthcare: medical, dental and vision
• Income protection: life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance
• Financial wellbeing: retirement plan with competitive company match
