What We Do
ATS MAKES FACTORIES RUN BETTER.

We help the nation’s leading manufacturers increase their profits through optimization of industrial equipment. ATS was created in 1985 when 32 people came together to create an entirely new kind of business after determining that manufacturers weren’t investing the time and resources needed to run at their optimum level. Since then, we’ve become the foremost experts in the industry and have been helping companies improve their productivity and profitability for more than 33 years. We’ve now grown to over 3,000 employees across the US, UK, and Mexico and are expanding every year.

FACTORY MAINTENANCE SERVICES

We help improve the productivity and reliability of our customer’s manufacturing assets. Today, we work with some of the largest brands in the world to make their businesses run better. From food processing and consumer packaged goods, to transportation equipment manufacturing and everything in between, ATS stays at the forefront of technology and innovations across many different industries.

While the customers who hire us focus on production, ATS technicians ensure that the customer’s production equipment continues to work at its optimum level. We’re able to save our customers millions of dollars every year by lowering manufacturing costs and optimizing their production equipment. Opportunities in FMS include positions like Maintenance Technicians, Supply Chain Specialists, Site Management, Planner/Schedulers, Reliability Engineers, and many more.

INDUSTRIAL PARTS SERVICES

Our highly skilled technicians work both at our corporate sites and on-site at our customer locations troubleshooting component-level repair for failed parts used in the manufacturing process. When those parts go down, our technicians are able to diagnose the issue, repair, rebuild, or refurbish the part, then send it back to the customer. We rebuild both electronic and mechanical components used in industries ranging from automotive and aerospace to building products and consumer packaged goods. Positions in IPS include Repair Technicians, Buyers, Calibration Technicians, Shipping and Receiving and Mechanical Engineers.

CORPORATE

What started in a 25,000 square foot office building in central Illinois has now expanded to 5 different corporate offices across 3 countries. The corporate offices are the support team for the employees working in our customer’s facilities. From sales and marketing, to training and operations, the corporate offices provide the backbone for the important technical work our employees do in the field.

INTERNSHIPS

Prepare for your future career by joining our summer internship program. Each year, our paid interns join various departments like Marketing, Recruiting, Sales, and Engineering. Our interns get real-life experience by working on various projects and performing many of the same day-to-day tasks our full-time employees do.
Military
ATS has a long history of supporting veterans through military hiring. As a company whose active and former military population makes up nearly 16% of the workforce, you'll be surrounded by a supportive community of people who have shared experiences.

Testimonials:
Carl Bowman - Master Chief Petty Officer

U.S. Navy, 26 Years of Service

"The Structure at ATS is very similar to what it was in the military which made the transition easy. We have a daily schedule that includes meetings, production schedules, and planning for the week and month. Teamwork is a huge part of the job and everyone understands what we have to do to complete our tasks and will go above and beyond to complete it. The corporate office is also filled with veterans and understand the day-to-day grind down on the "deck plates" and are always available to help."

Brendan Roberts - Master Sergeant

U.S. Army, 29 Years of Service

"Because there are so many former military at ATS, we're able to lend our support to each other. One of the technicians I work with was having a hard time with his past deployment so a few of us came together and spent time just listening to him talk about it and were able to help him through it. It's easier to share those experiences with someone who understands what it's like. We have a special bond that goes beyond just being coworkers. That support is incredibly important to us."
Testimonials
Meet Our Employees:

DARRYL LEE, MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II
My favorite thing about working at ATS is that we all work as a team and it feels like a family. I also like that the good things I do get noticed. When I finish a job for the customer and they thank me I know that they really appreciate what I did. Sometimes they’ll even email my site manager to compliment my work. Every day is different in my position. I’m an all-around guy and can wear many different hats. Some days I’m repairing a conveyer, troubleshooting an electrical problem, or working on pumps. In my life outside ATS I like to work on cars, go to car shows, and go hunting.

VICTORIA SKAGGS, DEMAND GENERATION REPRESENTATIVE
I like that I have the freedom to take on new responsibilities and that I get the opportunity to learn new skills. One of the most important things I’ve learned working here is that time management is key. Somedays, it seems like I have too many tasks to accomplish but if I plan correctly I’m always able to get my work done with time to spare. One of the projects I’m most proud of was when I found a gap our team had in data analytics for our online efforts. I found ways to fill those gaps and established processes where there were none before. Outside of work I love to play volleyball, read, and walk my dog.

JOSE GARCIA, TOOL & DIE MAKER
My job is to maintain and upgrade fabricated tools that our customer uses on their production line. Things move quickly around here because if a part of the production line goes down, we try to repair the part as quickly as we can so that we can keep downtime to a minimum. One of my favorite parts of my job is being able to work with the customer’s engineers. They allow me to share my ideas and concerns with them. In my personal life, I love to travel, dance, and visit with friends. One of the things I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come since first moving to the U.S.

JIMMY SERPICO, TOOL & DIE MAKER
The skills that someone needs to be successful as a tool & die maker at ATS is to work hard and be willing to learn from and listen to the people we work with. I love that I learn something new every day about my trade. One of the things that makes me enjoy my job is the people I work with. Everyone gets along and people are always willing to help. The work I’m most proud of has been troubleshooting and maintaining a 10-speed transmission die for new 10-speeds for a few automotive companies. In my everyday life I like to do things outdoors and spend time with my family.
