Variety Wholesalers, Inc. is a privately held corporation founded in 1930 by the Pope family. It is now one of the largest privately owned retail companies in the U.S. operating its stores under the trade names of Roses, Roses Express, Maxway, Super10, Bargain Town and Super Dollar Stores.

Variety Wholesalers, Inc. operates over 370 stores in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. We have retail stores in the following states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
