About Total Merchant Services

Total Merchant Services is different; we're not your typical Payment Company. We're a team of high-achievers, who have a passion for excellence and continuous improvement and obsess about getting things done. We're also equally committed to doing the right thing and giving back to our community. We're allergic to bureaucracy, extra layers of management and politics. And for us, collaboration is the golden rule. We're a 20-year old company with the energy and enthusiasm of a start up. We have over 300 employees nationwide and are hiring everyday. Our leaders have their ego in check, and we know what it means to be family.

Here at Total Merchant Services, we believe in work life balance and the only way a company truly succeeds in this is to create an ecosystem that believes in supporting the entire employee base. We have sports nights, softball teams, game nights, along with weekend and weekly social events. We truly believe we will win in the market place when we treat our employees better than employee; we treat them as family.

Habitat for Humanity and Giving Back

At Total Merchant Services, we have an amazing team; The Miracle Squad. The Miracle Squad believes they can create miracles one at a time, and they do an amazing job! Our energy, our compassion, and our love are committed to the less fortunate. We exist to meet the needs of all who are in need of a miracle, none are too big or too small. Our CEO Joe Kaplan and others have done races for the cure, earthquake relief, tsunami relief, food banks, charity drives, shelter drives, and helped Habitat for Humanity build houses for Veterans.

We find most companies may boast that they are an amazing place to work, but we actually are. The sheer workforce says it all, some employees have been with our CEO for over 10 years and some up to 20. That's incredible! We at Total believe in our employees, we believe if they are at their best they will be the best. We are passionate and committed to our employees, we believe they do not need a dress code, or standardized work space. They need colors, and stand up desks and crazy balls; cool spaces to work in! We need them to have their meditation room, the gym on site, frozen yogurt days, BBQ lunches with beer and wine. Socials every month, mixers, fun bowling and or picnics. We believe in an environment where ordinary people can do extraordinary things!!!
