The Finger Lakes are a popular tourist destination for recreational purposes which is often a local favorite. There are eleven lakes which make up the Finger Lakes: Otisco Lake, Skaneateles Lake, Owasco Lake, Seneca Lake, Keuka Lake, Canandaigua Lake, Honeoye Lake, Canadice Lake, Hemlock Lake, and Conesus Lake. There are five of our properties located in the Finger lakes region: Park Hill Apartments, Barrington Apartments, Barrington Townhomes, Farmington Court Apartments, and Wedgewood on the Green Apartments. The Finger Lakes is often visited for numerous activities such as fishing, boating, swimming, biking, hiking, and camping. Seneca, Canandaigua, and Honeoye Lake are three of the lakes our properties are located near. Seneca Lake is home to over 40 wineries and is visited by over 600,000 people annually. Seneca lake is also known as the trout capital of the world and hosts the Memorial Day Lake Trout Derby. Canandaigua Lake is notorious for its natural untouched beauty. Every year tourists flock to the town of Naples for the annual Naples Grape Festival. Canandaigua Lake also offers a small cruise making visitors get a good taste of local flavor to help make Canandaigua Lake memorable. Honeoye Lake is one of the smallest Finger Lakes being only 4.5 miles long. Residents surrounding the lakes participate in the annually Ring of Fire tradition where flares are lit around the lakeshore to signify summer’s end and to recognize the wealth of the Finger Lakes harvest.

Buffalo is the second largest city in New York and the largest in Western New York with a population of 258,612 people. We currently have four properties in the Buffalo region: Embassy Apartments, Londonaire Townhomes, Park Site Manor Apartments, and Walden Estates Townhomes. Walden Estates and Park Site Manor are located in Batavia just outside the city of Buffalo. Batavia is just minutes away from the fun-filled amusement park Darien Lake. Darien Lake features a theme park, water park, campground, and lodging. They also hold numerous of concerts there throughout the summer months. Tonawanda and Lockport both just north of Buffalo where Embassy Apartments and Londonaire Townhomes are located. In conjunction with the City of North Tonawanda, the City of Tonawanda celebrates an annual Canal Festival. For one week members of both communities celebrate Tonawanda's historic location on the western end of the Erie Canal in the largest festival of its kind. It is estimated over 150,000 people attend the Canal Fest each year. It is the largest event held along the Erie Canal today and is in the top percentile of New York State events. Lockport is named from a set of Erie Canal Locks. Lockport offers the Erie Canal Cruises boat rides on the Erie Canal, with one proceeding upward through the modern locks for a short cruise, and returning to pass downstream under two lift bridges and then returning to the docks. Also the Lockport Cave and Underground Boat Ride tour can be taken near the Locks. All of our Buffalo properties are near one of the oldest state parks in the United States, The Niagara Falls State Park. Niagara Falls is visited by over 30 million people every year. It is made up by three water falls: The American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls, and the Horseshoe Falls. The three waterfalls combined produce the highest flow rate of any waterfall on earth.
