Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) is an “A”-rated Premiere National School District located in Central Florida just north of Orlando, FL. SCPS is the 12th largest school district in Florida and is 60th nationally. 67,000+ students populate our public schools and they graduate high school at the highest rate of any of the 17 largest school districts in Florida and are #1 out of all Central Florida school districts. In fact, SCPS has the 4th highest graduation rate out of ALL Florida school districts. Their 2019-2020 Graduation rate of 94.5% is the highest ever achieved for SCPS as a district. In addition, SCPS remains ranked #1 in the state in STEM and is one of the top districts state-wide for Calculus and Physics enrollment.
In 2019 our graduating seniors earned more than $58 million in Scholarships and earned more than 3,800 industry certifications. 7,334 students participated in AP Exams with a total of 15,265 AP Exams given, and SCPS student’s achieved a pass rate of 63%. In addition, their SAT scores remain above the state and national average for the 43rd consecutive year.
