MANUFACTURING

Our manufacturing associates and maintenance technicians touch every vehicle, battery and solar cell we produce to ensure quality and readiness for our customers. Each day, our technicians work collaboratively to build Tesla’s award-winning products, maintain manufacturing equipment, improve safety, strengthen procedures and manage production goals.

SALES & SERVICE

Our dedicated sales and service employees are on the front lines when it comes to customer support. They know the ins and outs of our vehicle and energy products, and provide an educational, innovative, and personal purchasing and ownership guidance. Whether they’re fielding questions about vehicle range, discussing energy savings or diagnosing, repairing and servicing vehicles, they strive to offer the best customer experience. Nothing speaks to this more than the fact that Tesla has the highest customer satisfaction levels and the highest percentage of customers who say that their next car will be a Tesla in the entire global auto industry.

GENERAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE

Our corporate teams are passionate about the work we’re doing to achieve a sustainable energy future, so they work hard to support thousands of engineers, technicians and service employees throughout the global organization. Our teams of facilities, finance, human resources, legal and marketing professionals are both analytical and innovative, and strive for continuous improvement as they manage programs and deliver results on a global scale.

INTERNSHIPS & CO-OPS

Kick off your career with an internship experience like no other. Tesla hosts student interns from a variety of technical and business-related disciplines 365 days a year. Interns can expect to work side-by-side with world-class engineers, technicians, and leaders to solve real problems that affect our products and the way that we do business every day.

TESLA START

Tesla START is an intensive training program providing students across North America with the skills necessary for a successful career with Tesla. During the program, students develop technical expertise and earn certifications through a blended approach of in-class theory, hands-on labs and self-paced learning. We are partnering with colleges across the country to integrate Tesla START into automotive technician curriculums as a 12-week capstone, providing students with a smooth transition from college to full-time employment within our service team.

EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUPS

Tesla is proud to support Employee Resource Groups or (ERG’s), employee-led groups which create a community for employees who share common interests and goals to work with and support one another. ERGs promote a company culture of inclusion, respect and support for everyone and serve as a resource to leadership regarding employee and community input, ideas, and policies​. Membership is voluntary, and each ERG is open to all. Current groups include Teslatinos, LGBTQ at Tesla, Tesla Parents, US Veterans, Women in Tesla, Black at Tesla, and Intersectionality
