About Summit Community Care Clinic
The mission of the Summit Community Care Clinic (Care Clinic) is to provide exceptional, integrated, patient-centered health services designed to meet the needs of all patients, particularly those who experience barriers to accessing care, regardless of their ability to pay.

Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of our patients by preventing illness and treating disease in the most comprehensive and compassionate way possible.
Summit Community Care Clinic was established in 1993 as a one night a week walk-in clinic staffed entirely by volunteers and managed by Summit County Public Health. Over time we added extra evening hours and eventually day-time hours. In 2006 we became an independent non-profit and separated from Summit County Public Health into our current space. In 2013, the Care Clinic received its Federally Qualified Health Center- Look Alike status and became a full Federally Qualified Health Center in 2015. Over time our services have grown to include medical, reproductive health, oral health, counseling, physical therapy, and group preventative health services.
