About El Pollo Loco
For over 35 years El Pollo Loco continues to dominate the market in delivering the best citrus-marinated fire-grilled chicken. We opened our first restaurant in 1980 in Los Angeles, and today we are over 450 restaurants strong and still growing! From our products to our people, we’re truly amazing!

Start on your path towards a brighter future filled with growth and opportunity. Where we lift each other up, push each other further, and take part in something bigger than ourselves - supported by a team committed to you and your success.
Company & Culture
We believe that good food feeds more than just our appetites. It nourishes the soul.

Good food brings us together. And connects us to something larger than ourselves.

We believe that sitting down and sharing a meal prepared with time, love and quality ingredients makes us all feel like family. And when that happens, the world is a better place.

We proudly hire over 7,000 new employees a year across 6 states, including over 500 leadership positions. No matter where your passion lies, we believe in growth and advancement across all positions.

Pollo with a Purpose
El Pollo Loco has invested in a company-wide effort to donate surplus food through a new food donation program, Pollo with Purpose. In partnership with Food Donation Connection, El Pollo Loco plans to donate 500,000 pounds of surplus food to more than 200 local charities annually.
El Pollo Loco Honors Cesar Chavez Day with Community Service
In our hometown of Los Angeles, we brought together over 500 restaurant general managers, support center staff, franchisees and our customers to embark on the largest day of community service we have ever organized. The initiative was inspired by and in honor of Cesar Chavez Day.
Reviving L.A.’s lost murals
We paid tribute to our Hispanic heritage and Los Angeles roots by restoring a series of lost murals created by Latino artists across L.A. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the city that molded and influenced our brand.
