About AeroNavData, Inc.
AeroNavData’s reputation as a responsible and effective provider of Aeronautical Navigation Data and Services originates from our team’s dedication to quality. We are committed to providing quality navigation data, consulting, and engineering services to our clients, every time, through our highly skilled staff utilizing the best tools available in an atmosphere of caring and creativity.

Our company’s beginnings and history include deep experience in both Aviation and Aeronautical data use and data quality requirements. We are a company built on the foundation of a long-held passion for aviation and a strong conviction for the importance of safety in flight navigation. We truly understand the standards and requirements that pilots need to have in the data that goes into the Flight Management System in the cockpit of their aircraft.

The AeroNavData team includes skilled pilots, air traffic controllers and senior programmers with many years of experience managing both DAFIF® and ARINC formatted data. Our AeroNavData teams are highly proficient with coding, verification, and validation of many types of Instrument Flight Procedures: Standard Instrument Departure (SIDs), Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs), Standard Instrument Approach Procedures, both RNAV and Conventional.
Aeronautical Navigation Data
AeroNavData has developed a very efficient and highly accurate approach to coding Instrument Flight Procedures (IFPs) into our available ARINC 424 Navigation Database. We established our approach to procedure coding beginning in 2005 when the company was founded as we began our first procedure coding contract with the FAA. Since then we have perfected our processes – processes that were audited and certified by the FAA, resulting in our RTCA Type 1 Letter of Agreement (LOA).

Our team is composed of instrumented rated Pilots, experienced Air Traffic Controllers, and teams with successful aeronautical analysis experience. To ensure we have a consistently and effectively trained aeronautical staff we’ve developed and implemented a qualification training program to enhance the capabilities of each team member. All of our Aeronautical Analysts are required to successfully complete a stringent 12-month training plan that outlines ARINC coding requirements and techniques. Our aeronautical analysts are qualified in source validation and verification and the coding of Departure Procedures (DPs), Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs), and Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPs).
