PODS teams with Toys for Tots to brighten the holidays for children in need across the US.
Each year, from Oct. – Dec., Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys and then distributes them as Christmas gifts to children in need. Toys for Tots campaigns are conducted in communities covering all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
“Our local PODS franchise owners and corporate stores are very excited to be working hand-in-hand with Toys for Tots this holiday season,” said George Spowart, PODS Chief Marketing Officer. “This collaboration makes perfect sense. Our large network of locations in 149 U.S. markets are ready to provide PODS containers to over 400 Toy for Tots collection locations.”
The objectives of the annual Toys for Tots drive are to help children in need experience the joy of Christmas, to nurture the development of children, to unite members of local communities in a common cause and to contribute to the future betterment of communities. In the 63 years since the Toys for Tots program began, the Marines have distributed more than 419 million toys to more than 195 million underprivileged children.
