About Goshen Valley Foundation
At Goshen Valley, we believe that every child deserves to know the safety of a home, the love of a family, and the hope of a future. We exist to provide these for young men, women and children in the foster care system that they might experience full healing.
The Goshen Valley Foundation is made up of the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, Goshen New Beginnings, Goshen Homes, and Goshen Therapeutic Services, and is a faith-based organization dedicated to change through service to others. Here's an outline of each of our programs...
- Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, located on 160 acres in northern Cherokee County, is home to around 40 young men in foster care age 8-18. All boys participate in therapeutic counseling, public school education, and our comprehensive recreation program, all while living in a unique, family-based home. Our goal at GVBR is for every young man to know the safety of a home, the love of a family, and the hope of a future.
- At Goshen New Beginnings our mission is to lead older foster youth into lifelong thriving independence. GNB cares for foster youth, ages18 to 21, who elect to stay in the state foster care system.
- At Goshen Homes, we believe siblings in foster care shouldn't be separated. GH recruits, trains, licenses, and supports foster families working with sibling groups within the state of Georgia.
- At Goshen Therapeutic Services, we believe that there is hope for fractured families. GTS exists to strengthen and restore families through licensed, comprehensive therapeutic services.
