About Pepper Source, Ltd.
Pepper Source offers an extensive array of tantalizing flavor profiles that can be adapted to meet your specific flavor requirements for batters, breadings, spices, sauces, marinades, and glazes.
Pepper Source was founded by Jim Mayer, Sr. and Joe Morse, Sr. in response to the growing need for private label hot sauce. Since that time, Pepper Source has opened a plant in Van Buren, AR, and Rogers, AR, while adding other capabilities such as a new research and development facility and in-house IT batch monitoring system.
Today, Pepper Source supplies all of the major poultry companies in the United States as well as the frozen food, meat, and food service industries with quality custom products and employs approximately 500 people in our 3 locations.

We provide these products and services in an ethical, safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner to meet the ever-changing customer and market needs. Pepper Source has a team of culinary experts who are here to speak for the food. Our Director of Culinary Innovation’s knowledge is utilized both externally and internally with our development team. By combining knowledge of various cuisines and emerging food trends at all levels (fine dining, restaurant, food industry, retail, etc.), we are able to create flavor profiles that are relevant to our customers today and prepares them for trends tomorrow. Our Corporate Chef works alongside our technical, sales, and marketing teams to ensure we provide the best products for our customers.
Additionally, Pepper Source has implemented an Innovation Kitchen at our Rogers, AR, location. We welcome customers to visit our facility to work together on concepts, products, and ideation while in the Northwest Arkansas area.

Types of available positions include:
Packager
The Portion Control Packager works closely with the Machine Operator to verify quantity, quality, and labeling of products. This is done by ensuring correct box type, box liners and packaging methods are used per customer specifications.
Quality Assurance Technicians
Perform laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of solid or liquid materials for such purposes as quality control, process control, or product development.
Quality Control Technicians
Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain food quality and reliability of product.
Batch Mixer
Mixers blend ingredients into custom products by verifying ingredients, loading ingredients into mixer and adjusting valves or devices during mixing process.
Forklift Driver
Forklift Drivers operate propane-powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, lift beam and elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move ingredients, products, equipment, or materials. These employees also verify incoming and outgoing ingredients and product against paperwork, enter information into computers, and print labels.
Operational Sanitation
Operational Sanitation personnel keep working areas in production departments in clean and orderly condition.
Industrial Maintenance
Industrial Maintenance personnel install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.
Human Resources
Human Resource personnel perform Human Resources related duties on a professional level by recruiting, interviewing, testing, and selecting employees to fill vacant positions.
Information Technology
Information Technologists install, modify, and make repairs to computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical assistance and training to system users.
Inventory
Inventory Technicians compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material and supplies.
Batch Staging
Staging personnel stage ingredients for production by reading production schedules to determine ingredients to be gathered for weighing/measuring to prepare the batch.
Machine Operator
Machine Operators tend machines that fill the pouches and are required to adjustments or repairs to the machines such as opening valves, changing cutting dies, and setting guides.
Purchasing
Purchaser for procurement of raw good materials or maintenance/plant supply materials.
Blender Operator
Blender Operators blend ingredients into custom products by verifying ingredients, loading ingredients into blender and adjusting valves or devices during mixing process.
Regulatory Compliance
Coordinating personnel and foods safety compliance efforts to maintain personnel safety and superior food quality standards.
