Student Technician Sponsorship Program

Our Service Technician Sponsorship (STS) sponsorship program allows selected students who are beginning or who are currently pursuing a two-year Associate of Applied Science Diesel degree to join one of our service teams. The sponsorship program provides professional, technical and financial support for early career technicians.

Veteran Spotlight - Walter Wright

Walter Wright, Titan Machinery-Omaha’s Store administrator, is our next Veteran Spotlight. He has been #TeamTitan since 2009!

Following in his father’s footsteps, Walter served in the Navy as a Captain, Supply Corps. Over his career he has served on several vessels as well as in various staff assignments in the States. While at sea, he was a part of the commissioning crew of USS CHANDLER (DDG-996), the Supply officer in USS CALLAGHAN (DDG-994), Assistant Supply officer in USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69), and the Supply Officer in USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN-71). He has deployed several times to the North Arabian Sea, Arabian Gulf, Haiti, and Kosovo. Walter also deployed to the North Arabian Sea following 9/11, where they commenced combat operations immediately while flying the flag that formerly flew over the World Trade Center. These experiences have shown him how crucial both leadership and planning are to successful teams. These principles are something Walter strives to exhibit every day in his role.
