About ANOMATIC CORPORATION
Anomatic has made anodizing aluminum into an art form. The company anodizes, stamps, and packages small aluminum parts, which are made into such products as cosmetics containers and packaging, hand tools, jewelry, musical instruments, and plumbing fittings. Its Anomatic anodizing process (by which an oxide coating is formed on aluminum to provide a corrosive resistant and decorative finish) was the first automated belt conveyor system built for high speed, high volume anodizing of small aluminum parts. Anomatic operates eight anodizing lines, which run two shifts per day and generate a monthly production of 80 million anodized components. Customers include Estee Lauder, Mary Kay, and Revlon.
Anomatic was founded in Chicago in 1965 by William Rusch. His Anomatic system featured a continuous titanium belt, which was patented in 1967. The company relocated to Newark, Ohio in 1990.
