About U.S. Customs and Border Protection

Our frontline team is made up of three components: U.S. Border Patrol, Air and Marine Operations, and Office of Field Operations. All three components work with Mission Operations – a team of civilians dedicated to providing backend assistance, expertise, and guidance. CBP offers competitive salaries and federal benefits, and has a hiring process that typically takes between 3 to 12 months, but can be streamlined for qualifying veterans.
