Touchmark is an Oregon-based, award-winning developer, owner, and operator of full-service retirement communities in the United States and Canada. Each one of our communities is unique, but all are motivated by a common mission: To enrich people’s lives. The ladies and gentlemen who serve in our communities have been enriching the lives of older adults and their families since Touchmark was founded in 1980, and we hire people who share the same core values that the company was built upon – hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity.

In addition to enriching people’s lives, Touchmark is also committed to a high standard of ethics. Touchmark has been serving the needs of adults 55-plus and their families for more than 40 years. Established November 10, 1980, the privately held company was founded by Werner G. Nistler, Jr., who continues to serve as Chairman. We aspire to be the premier provider of fulfilling lifestyle options for adults over 55 while supporting employees’ personal and professional growth, offering investors a solid return, and enhancing the communities in which we live.
