A foundation of pioneering positive outcomes for our patients with substance use disorders began decades ago. In 2006, a new story began to take shape with the acquisition of four treatment facilities in Pittsburgh and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Today, we have 108 facilities throughout the country–including California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio. Across these locations, we are transforming the lives, hopes, and dreams of more than 29,000 people every day through our innovative residential care, outpatient support, and medication-assisted treatments (MAT), and transitional living environments. As we continue to expand, we are working toward a better world where lives and communities are made whole again through our treatment of people with drug and alcohol addiction.

Leadership Spotlight Q&A: Dave Long, Senior Vice President, Human Resources
The values and philosphies of any leadership team shapes the culture of a company. That's why we're so lucky to have Dave Long leading our Human Resources team. In such an important role, we had to pick the right person, and we definitely got it right!
What is your leadership philosophy and how does that tie into treatment?
My leadership philosophy has been shaped over the years by my many experiences, as well as my personal beliefs and values. Having worked in healthcare my entire career, service to others has been an essential element – not just in the organizations I join, but also how I interact across those organizations. As a leader, self-awareness, humility, the ability to listen – truly listen – has been effective in forming some of the best teams across healthcare.
