About Fatz Cafe
In 1988, a few friends got together and decided they just couldn’t stomach plain ol' restaurants that offered nothing more than ho-hum food and mediocre service. They wanted something different, something with ties to the community and the type of food that makes people sit up and take notice. And they wanted a restaurant where genuine Southern hospitality was the norm, rather than the exception. And so Fatz was born.
While the first restaurant wasn’t exactly fancy – it was in a converted roadside peach shed – it had what mattered most: Great service. Great food. Great prices. And it worked. We’ve been serving throughout the South for over 25 years, and we’re just getting started.
Today, Fatz still offers folks Southern favorites at restaurants run by their friends and neighbors. We’re more than just another restaurant, we’re family, and we’re always happy to set you a place at the table and help feed your soul.
