Inclusion taskforce: We have a responsibility to create an environment where people are proud of who they are and feel they can be themselves. We feel that this applies just as much to our team members as it does to our guests and suppliers. To make it happen, we have made inclusion a priority and we have a clear plan, that helps to educate and raise awareness. Our inclusion taskforce is made up of 17 members, each with a different perspective, specific interest, and area of responsibility.
We're empowering people to be comfortable and confident: All members of our taskforce are diversity champions, and our core focus is on gender, race and ethnicity, wellbeing, disability, and sexual orientation. We are making ally-ship visible and asking Allies to take on the struggle as if it were their own. To further support our people and our ambitions we’ve surrounded ourselves with a range of diversity and inclusion partners who we’re confident will support us on our journey to creating a place where everybody can bring their whole self to work.
Your voice: We measure the health of our culture and levels of engagement of our people through short monthly engagement surveys. The results tell us what our strengths are and the priorities we need to focus on, the areas that need changing. By understanding and tracking our people's thoughts around - teamwork, leadership, reward, learning and development and much more, we're able to understand the areas that are effective and the areas that need attention to further improve our company culture.

A proven track record: We have been operating pubs under self-employed agreements for many years. Some people really want the all-out freedom and creativity to develop a truly independent business. Others prefer a partnership that offers a bit more security and support from us. Whichever type of agreement you’re after, there’s a pub for you.
