About SFI Investigations, LLC
Started in 2008, SFI Investigations, LLC was designed to be different that our competitors. While learning the Private Security Industry, Chief Jarmon worked for several different Security Agencies. He noticed that they focused on compliance through intimidation and that the staff who was hired often were unqualified or incapable of doing the job and that the company was only looking for warm bodies to fill their contracts. Larger companies were disconnected from their employees on the ground and could not focus on their clients needs.
Jarmon opened SFI with the idea that compliance would be better obtained by using tact and respect than intimidation. He put an emphasis in using Community Oriented Policing Strategies to focus on preventing and deterring crime instead of harassment. We use criminology theories like "Broken Windows" and "Routine Activity" theories to target criminal activity and reduce the number of incidents at any given location. Officers receive training in a variety of subjects to make them better prepared to service the community and are required to continue their training to receive promotions and raises. We avoid the warm body mentality that many of our competitors have used for decades.

Our Officers provide a number of services including foot and vehicle patrols, Parking Enforcement, Community Outreach, Risk Mitigation Audits, and much more.
Sgt. McNeil Receives Achievement AwardWhile many companies hire and forget their employees, SFI recognizes that we are not an elite company, but rather an Agency who strives to hire elite Officers. We pay higher than average wages and promote from within. Each Officer's opinion and insight is invaluable to our operations. We allow our Officers to take charge of their posts and provide them the guidance they need to be successful. Nearly all of our Officers who made it through their probationary period stay on with our Agency for many years. We do not hire warm body Officers. Every Officer is a member of our team, not just another body.

Each Officer brings with them experience, knowledge, and education we encourage they pass to others. And whether those Officers wish to make Security their career or have dreams beyond , we support our Officers decisions and help them achieve their goals.
Accident InvestigationsOur Officers are dedicated to the safety and protection of others. They have responded to accidents, disabled vehicles, medical emergencies, lost children, as well as responded to criminal incidents. We encourage our staff to be a part of the communities in they interact with, not be a warden over it. We look for Officers who can be professional and respectful, who care about the protection of lives and yet, are not aggressive. As a result of our approach, we have reduced crime at each of our properties by an average of 77%.
