About Virgin Atlantic
Since Virgin Atlantic was founded in 1984, we've become the UK's second largest carrier, we fly to some of the world's major cities including including New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Delhi and Johannesburg.
We don’t do ordinary. We prefer to leave the run-of-the-mill, the so-so and the average to others. Our business is about delivering the dazzling, serving up the spectacular and making the most marvelous memories - for every customer.
Which is where our people come in.
Everyone that works here - be they front of house or behind the scenes - has an important part to play in creating the Virgin Atlantic experience. That's why we look for talented people, with ideas and energy; passion and personality. People like us who believe if a job's worth doing it's worth doing well. And then some.

Life doesn't come to you, so go to it and let it fly. You’ll see that on our adverts but it also reflects our internal culture. It defines us and means as much to our people as it does to our customers. We pride ourselves on our spontaneity and intuition.
We thought it was time to celebrate who we are, what we do and our irrepressible attitude to life. It’s easy to take flying for granted, especially when you do it every day. But what we do is far from normal and it’s important that we take a bit of time out to remind ourselves of the complex, emotional and wonderful thing that is our day to day operation and the people who make it happen.
We took a cameraman out for a few days to meet as many people in as many roles as we could. We filmed two days at Heathrow, two at Crawley, where our offices and training facilities are based, and then hopped on a quick flight to New York to film our teams onboard and in our North America office. The result was this video which we think really represents who we are and what we do. Oh, and no cats were harmed in the making of this film.

Our people are a passionate lot, united in creating something really special and something different. Whenever you board one of our aircraft, chill out in our Clubhouses or come to work here, you’ll feel part of it. It’s always been like this. It’s in our DNA and it was ignited within us from the moment we starting flying.
To get us off the ground every day, there’s lots of hard work involved with lots of different kinds of people doing different jobs. It’s the fact we all love the airline, believe in what we do and have a lot of fun doing it that really helps us pull together to create the fantastic service that we’ve become world famous for.

We've recently revealed our Airbus A350 livery, and we think you’ll agree it’s looking beyond fabulous. There’s just one more special addition to be made when the plane arrives home in London – our new flying icon. We’re also pleased to have announced an order of 14 Airbus A330neos, securing our cleanest and youngest fleet yet.
Our CEO Shai Weiss commented:
“2019 marks a return to growth for Virgin Atlantic as we strive to become the most loved travel company and the nation’s second flag carrier at an expanded Heathrow.
The acquisition of 14 A330neos will play a pivotal role in our fleet transformation and it is testament to our sustainability commitment; by 2024, we will have improved the fuel efficiency of our aircraft by 32 per cent”.
