The Patterson Foundation was founded by Patterson employees in 2000 and has donated millions of dollars to oral and animal health nonprofit organizations. Its mission is to positively impact lives through higher education scholarships for the dependents of Patterson employees and grants to nonprofit organizations in the oral and animal health fields, with a preference to organizations that our employees volunteer and value in their communities.
In 2019, Patterson employees donated over 2,800 volunteer hours and the Patterson Foundation further fueled their impact by donating more than $16,000 in Dollars for Doers funds to those organizations. As a collective effort, the Patterson Foundation prioritizes grant applications by reviewing applications in which a Patterson employee referred or recommended to us, or established a volunteer relationship.

In our second annual Giving Week, Patterson employees gave back to their communities in a big way. In just five days of volunteering, collecting items for donation and raising money for charities, we donated more than $138,000 in cash and in-kind donations!

#WeArePatterson 5K Run/WalkThank you to all who participated in our virtual “We are Patterson” 5K run/walk. With 470 Patterson employees, friends, and family from 37 different states participating, together we raised $6,000 for the National Alliance on Mental Illness group! NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots Mental Health organization and their work is especially needed during this time.
