Mohawk Day Camp and Country Day School

Mohawk Day Camp is a day camp like no other - uniquely focused on delivering amazing camper experiences. We offer dynamic programming in state of the art facilities, situated on 40 beautiful acres in White Plains, NY, serving families in lower Westchester County, New York City and areas of Connecticut. Our diversified staff come from Westchester County, Manhattan, Bronx, and areas of Connecticut; Mohawk also supports an international staff during the camp season.

We are hiring Teachers, Coaches, and Paraprofessionals for our 2022 summer camp season Leadership positions. Some leadership roles available include: Group Leader, Head Coach, Head Specialist, Swim Supervisor. Children of head staff are welcome to attend camp. Our campers enjoy dynamic programming packed with sports, aquatics, creative arts and many outdoor adventure elements.

High School, college and grad students have opportunities for counselor, assistant specialist and swim staff positions.

Specialty programs include gymnastics, arts and crafts, drama, dance, archery, wilderness skills, ninja warrior, photography, cooking, tennis, nature, mountain biking, ceramics, robotics, high/low ropes courses, and more!

WHERE: Mohawk Day Camp is privately owned, situated on 40 well manicured acres of land nestled in the heart of White Plains, NY.

WHEN: Camp dates are June 27 - August 19. Hours are Mon - Fri , 8:30am - 4:15pm daily.

TRANSPORTATION is provided in most cases for New York City staff, with opportunities for Westchester County staff as well - our bus counselors receive additional salary for this role.
