About Hope House Inc
Hope House provides a long term Christian home for children from failing or failed US and Internationally adoptions. All of our youth have experienced early childhood trauma and struggle with attachment. Hope House is designed to be a family atmosphere where traumatized children can heal and learn to trust others. Therefore, all staff members are required to live onsite in private housing, separate from the youth dorms.

Staff work 40+ hours a week and are on call 24/7 in case of a crisis and when extra supervision is needed. . Staff children assist with property chores 4-6 hours a week. All staff and their families attend weekly onsite activities and events in addition to their "on-duty" work hours.

We are seeking individuals and families that love the Lord Jesus and have a servant's heart that desire to be in full time ministry.

Hope House provides extensive training including behavior management i.e. verbal redirection and de-escalation; and if needed physical restraint. All direct care staff are trained in CPR /First Aid as well as medication assistance.

Currently we have openings for:

Direct Care Staff - men and women to care for, mentor and supervise our boys or our girls ranging in age from 11-19 living in separate dorms. Staff and their family live in their individual private homes onsite.

Maintenance and Farm Staff - to live onsite in a private home while they care for and maintain our 56 acres along the Snake River, school/church, numerous homes, buildings and animals (goats, horses, chickens, turkeys, donkeys).

Each staff member receive a monthly stipend of $600.00 plus private housing, utilities, meals, health insurance, phone, groceries, and other types of support.

A spouse is welcomed and will also (only) work onsite in direct care, in our kitchen, maintenance, or in another support or auxiliary position.

Children are welcome over the age of 6. We have an accredited school where all staff children are invited to attend, tuition free. Mothers usually receive $300.00 stipend and work 24 hours a week while their children attend school.

Pets are welcome, including horses.

Men and Women over the age of 50 strongly desired.

We are a smoke-free facility
