Behind-the-Scenes Health DetectivesLaboratory Supervisor Maureen Henry assists with running our laboratory at Lakeside Medical Center. Specialists working in the lab consider themselves medical field detectives because they're helping doctors understand a patient's ailment by sampling blood, urine, or other substance from the body. Laboratory tests can help determine a diagnosis, plan treatment, check to see if treatment is working, or monitor the disease over time.
