Jimmy Sanders, Inc., founded by, you guessed it, Jimmy Sanders, makes and distributes farm supplies, fertilizers, and agricultural chemicals. It also provides grain marketing and storage, seed processing and handling, crop advisors, technology support, and other related services. Started in 1953, the company took its present structure in 1995 when three companies owned by the founder (Jimmy Sanders Seed, Sanders Elevator, and Cleveland Chemical) merged. Family-owned Jimmy Sanders has more than 75 locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, and Texas.

Looking to expand beyond its base in the Mid-South, Jimmy Sanders has formed a partnership with Pinnacle Agriculture Holdings and affilates of the investment firm Apollo Global Management to form a national agricultural distribution network.
