About Weyerhaeuser
For us, every definition of success hinges on our ability to continue operating sustainably, now and long into the future. We must protect the environment and make sure our forests thrive on a fully continuous cycle of growing, harvesting and regrowing. We must generate strong financial returns from our assets through the ups and downs of economic cycles. We must create a safe, inclusive, ethical and rewarding place to work for our current and future employees. And we must earn the right to continue operating by investing in, listening to and communicating openly with our local communities.

We sustainably manage forests and manufacture products that make the world a better place. We’re serious about safety, driven to achieve excellence, and proud of what we do. With multiple business lines in locations across North America, we offer a range of exciting career opportunities for smart, talented people who are passionate about making a difference.

We know you have a choice in your career. We want you to choose us.
Weyerhaeuser: Developing Great People
The success of our company depends on the success of our people.

That’s why developing people is a critical focus area on our company vision. We know most career growth happens on the job as talented people push to perform and succeed in new areas. We support that growth with leadership training, mentoring programs, and a simple annual goal-setting process that includes development.

We know you have a choice in your career. We want you to choose us.
What's Unique about Working at Weyerhaeuser?
WE PLANT 130-150 MILLION TREES EVERY YEAR
When he founded our company in 1900, Frederick Weyerhaeuser had a vision to replant after harvest to ensure our forests would last forever, and we carry that commitment through every step of our operations. We replant 100 percent of the forests we harvest, and 100 percent of our forests are certified to internationally recognized sustainable forest management standards. It takes long-term thinking to thrive for more than a century, and we're proud to continue honoring our founder's legacy.

INCREASING DIVERSITY, ENSURING EQUITY AND FOSTERING INCLUSION
We've been on an important journey to build a truly inclusive environment, and to secure, preserve and promote equity for all our people. We have expanded and accelerated this work and identified distinct actions to drive meaningful improvement at our company.

WE DON'T JUST GROW TREES. WE GROW PEOPLE, TOO
When you join our team, your growth and development will begin right away and continue throughout your career. To facilitate growth, we offer three leadership development programs for different levels of leadership, a formal individual development planning process, mentoring partnerships and opportunities to participate in cross-functional/cross-business projects. We take the development of our people seriously, and we think our track record speaks for itself.

Safety, integrity, inclusion, citizenship and sustainability are enduring values that form the foundation of who we are. If these values speak to you, we hope you'll join us.
Weyerhaeuser - Our Story
Our values are not just words on a page.

Every company talks about values, but at Weyerhaeuser, you can believe they are absolutely real. Safety, integrity, citizenship, inclusion, and sustainability — these concepts form the foundation of who we are. They are guideposts for everything we do. And, as our CEO likes to say, that won’t change, period, the end.

We always strive to do the right thing in the right way.
If that speaks to you, please join us.
Weyerhaeuser: 'Safety is the Most Important Thing We Do'
Nothing is more important than making safe choices. Everyone at our company shares responsibility and accountability for safety, and we believe it’s possible to work injury-free. In fact, the majority of our sites were injury-free last year. From our senior leadership to our front-line supervisors, visible, consistent commitment to safety makes a significant impact.

Inclusion: Diversity, Equity and Belonging
We believe in the power of building a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment where all employees feel heard and valued, have equal opportunities to grow, and are empowered to share and implement their ideas for making our company better. We know that embracing diverse experiences and points of view leads to increased innovation, better decision-making and, ultimately, a much stronger company. It is also just the right thing to do — for our people and the communities where we work.

Weyerhaeuser: Sustainable Forestry
It takes long-term thinking to thrive for more than a century.

Our founder, Frederick Weyerhaeuser, had a vision to replant after harvest to ensure our forests would last forever. He didn’t use the word sustainability, but he instilled the concept in our culture. That’s why we’ve planted more than a billion trees in the last ten years, and 100 percent of our forests are certified to internationally recognized sustainable forest management standards.

Our trees provide clean air and water, wildlife habitat, recreation opportunities, renewable energy, great jobs and a sustainable supply of wood for hundreds of important products people use every day.
