Flexible Work Environment

We have officially launched our first-ever, Work from Home and Hybrid Workplace arrangements! Depending on the role... Hippos can now continue working from home within the continental U.S., work in a hybrid environment (some days in the office, some days at home), or work in the office! Group Fitness Classes

Our daily group fitness classes give our Hippos the opportunity to work towards their fitness goals, establish a healthy work-life balance, and bond with their peers. Our classes (which are all taught by certified fitness instructors) include Crossfit, weightlifting, and indoor cycling.

Wellness Offerings

Our wellness offerings include a half hour yoga class twice a week and guided meditation weekly. These optional classes are a great way to relieve stress and boost energy, so our Hippos can bring their ‘A’ game to work — even when things get a little hectic!

Employee Stock Ownership Program

All employee-owners can be a part of our new ESOP program! This program is a Retirement Plan funded by company contributions of company stock which means Golden Hippo provides stock into employee-owner's ESOP account and they build value towards your retirement, at no cost to our employees! With the ESOP, employee-owners can help the company thrive and in the long-run, will end up benefiting their retirement plan in a big way.

Diversity POD & Social Events

We host a variety of team-building events, discussion panels focused on Diversity & Inclusion, and both remote & in-person events like our paint nights, online cooking classes, and Halloween and holiday party! We also have a book club & film club, where Hippos discuss books and films related to diversity & inclusion initiatives and personal & professional development topics.

Performance Incentives

Meeting our company goals means more money in your pocket. Our KPI (Key Performance Indicator) program gives Hippos the opportunity to earn 1 or 2 weeks of extra pay each month, based on a changing list of company wide goals. We’re all in this together!
