2022 Pharmacist of the YearJeff, PharMerica Clinical Operations Manager, was named as the Pharmacist of the Year award winner for BrightSpring Health Services’ 2022 Enterprise Leadership Awards. BrightSpring is the parent company of PharMerica.
As a manager, Jeff has 41 direct reports servicing 338 facilities in a three-state territory. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he Got Going! and coordinated 379 scheduled vaccination clinics, resulting in 3,691 vaccine administrations. Jeff often attended these clinics personally to assist with dispensing the vaccine to participants.
“Jeff displayed extraordinary effort in the COVID-19 vaccine initiative, in addition to the many responsibilities associated with his role,” said Director of Clinical Operations, Marti. “During this time, he also delivered on his productivity and expense/revenue goals by exceeding maximum targets for both. He does all this
with an inspiring can-do Attitude.”

The company’s best-in-class quality assurance program includes the Community Service Challenge, which was launched on the company’s 25th Anniversary in 1999.
