About Malouf
We are lifestyle and wellness experts. Our core business is home furnishings, but we’ve grown into six key categories (consumer products, services, technology, retail, logistics, and venture) through a suite of nationally recognized brands and powerful partnerships.
Since 2019, we have proudly been a Certified B Corporation®. We meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
As a company, we’re concerned not only with revenue, but also with our corporate social responsibility for society, workers, the community, and the environment. We’ve got a triple bottom line: planet, people, profits.
Every day, we focus on making accessible items that excite consumers—and making a difference.

“The trust built by the leaders of this organization stems from a real interest in the wellbeing of the employees.” -Anonymous employee feedback, Inc. employee survey, Spring 2018
Since 2003, Sam and Kacie Malouf have transformed a two-person operation into an award-winning company with more than 370 employees in Utah, Texas, Ohio, and North Carolina. From the beginning, they have empowered smart, motivated employees to multiply their momentum and trusted those people to raise Malouf to the next level. They set an example of drive, respect, and kindness that spreads to every employee, every retailer, and every customer.
“The reason for all of it comes down to the CEO of the company. He has a good heart and has instilled in this company a desire to be a leader of quality workplaces.” -Anonymous employee feedback, Inc. employee survey, Spring 2018
Our top-rated CEO, Sam Malouf, might not be what you’d expect. You can find him sharing tables in our in-house employee restaurant with team members from all departments, dressing up as Popeye (massive forearms and all) for the Halloween party, or pranking his entire staff.
Sam’s hard-working and caring attitude guides the management structure of our company every day. We reinforce these attributes in our managers of all levels with ongoing leadership training. Managers also lead in regular one-to-one manager to employee meetings where goals, challenges, and opportunities are discussed.
“Our leaders are always there if we need them but allow us room to work through the problems and find solutions.” -Anonymous employee feedback, Inc. employee survey, Spring 2018

"I feel Malouf is a company with a soul. This is more than just a place where money is made. The company has a culture of caring and making a difference.” -Anonymous employee feedback, Inc. employee survey, Spring 2018
Focusing on people and fostering positivity in the workplace has helped us join the ranks of industry leaders. We believe a healthy work-life balance forms lifelong careers with the company.
So, what is life at Malouf like? We work hard, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We believe that work should be fun, and employee feedback confirms that most of us count our coworkers as friends. You can get to know your coworkers even more with our fitness classes, softball team, and UFC fight nights. Plus, our Halloween costume bash, Christmas party, and cross-company contests are guaranteed to make you laugh –and our friendships contribute to a collaborative, peer-led work environment.
“Company parties at Malouf are a big deal: Christmas, Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, and our Summer Family Party are just a few of the great parties we have each year.” -Anonymous IT employee review, Glassdoor, Mar. 2018
We foster a connection to bridge our multiple locations – from our headquarters in Logan, UT to our warehouses throughout Utah and in Ohio, North Carolina, and Texas – and put names to faces. Each Malouf location has their own perks, and we stay connected on company social media to see the fun and achievements across every location.
Employee well-being is a substantial focus for leadership, and we choose to offer benefits that provide security and peace of mind (like 100% Malouf-paid insurance premiums and a 401(k) with a 5/4 employer match). In Logan, you can eat a gourmet lunch in our farm-to-table, scratch kitchen; visit our on-site gym; and enjoy a monthly trip to our in-house salon during work. And non-HQ locations don’t miss out on these perks – we provide gym memberships and catered lunches to every location. Gaining an additional PTO day each year with the company contributes to our focus on work life balance.

The Work Space
Whether at a desk or in the warehouse, you’ll love Malouf’s unique workspace. At our Logan campus, we share lunch, made by our on-staff chef and crew in our scratch kitchen, every day. Our building has high ceilings, top of the line tech, open work spaces, ergonomic chairs, and sit/stand desks.
Vertical Integration
We hire from all over to get diverse talent from a variety of fields, not just the bedding industry. We're vertically integrated, which means we own every step of the process from ideation and production, to logistics, marketing, and support. We have an incredible breadth of talented teams contributing to the exceptional end user experience. We’ve got web developers, photographers, a warehouse team, graphic designers, writers, a sales team, a research and development team – just to name a few.
Everything we do is in house, with many teams strategically involved in technology, creative, business, and more. Our employee-wide training ensures that you continue to grow in the areas that interest you.
“Never have I worked somewhere that employed such a likeable and competent group of people.” -Anonymous employee review, Glassdoor, Mar. 2018

Our Mission
To unite our compassion and ambition to positively impact how people sleep, work, and help each other.
Our Vision
A Malouf, we work hard to realize our three-fold vision: 1) to lead our industry with happy, well-rested customers, 2) to create a fulfilling place for employees to contribute and grow, and 3) to unite our industry partners against human trafficking.

In 2016, Sam and Kacie established the Malouf Foundation. Together, with partners from the community, the industry, and our causes, we are making a real impact on the fight against sexual exploitation and abuse of children.
As a bedding manufacturer, we have a unique opportunity to donate much needed comfort products to those recently rescued from sexual exploitation. Beyond product and monetary donations, all employees have the chance to get involved, whether it’s volunteering at an event, leveraging expertise on a project for a charity partner, or donating time to a cause.
"Malouf has a higher cause, more than just selling bedding products, Malouf wants to use that success to help people throughout the world through the Malouf Foundation. If nothing else motivates you to work for Malouf, the Malouf Foundation and the real tangible results the foundation produces should give you that motivation. That is why I say "10 [out of 10]" when recommending this company..." -Anonymous employee feedback, Inc. employee survey, Spring 2018
The Malouf Foundation has a three-fold focus.
1. Fight Child Trafficking and Exploitation
Two million children are trafficked for sex worldwide. This pervasive crime affects every nation, region, and community. We fight against child sex trafficking and exploitation by donating money from our Foundation products, partnering with organizations like Operation Underground Railroad, and hosting our warehouse sales – raising over $300,000 for the Foundation and our primary partners.
2. Comfort and Care for Abuse Victims
On average, 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the U.S. This equates to 12 million victims per year. We provide support for survivors from small ways like providing bedding for aftercare centers, to large ways, like hosting Art for CAPSA, an art auction staffed by Malouf volunteers to raise money for our neighbors at CAPSA, a nonprofit domestic violence, sexual abuse, and rape recovery center.
3. Support Children and Families in Need
At-risk children and families need support and assistance. From bedding donations to fundraising events to pet support, we work to create happy, comfortable homes where healing begins, and raise awareness with our OnWatch training program.
Getting Involved
We wanted to make a serious commitment to helping others, so in the fall of 2018, we instituted charity time off. Malouf employees can spend two hours a month serving local nonprofit groups or volunteering with our partners—on company time. As an organization, we have the potential to spend over 9,000 hours a year volunteering.
We also offer our in-house expertise to charity partners for free. To support some organizations that might not have the staff available, we’ve produced marketing tools like video and brochures to help our partners spread the word about their incredible causes.
