James W. Brown started in the trucking business in West Virginia with a dump truck in the mid-1960s, and moved to the Atlanta area in the early 1970s where he started his trucking and contracting business. After 40 years of building and running his business. Mr. Brown sold the company to Navigation Capital Partners, an Atlanta-based private equity firm. They have remained committed to carrying on his legacy of dedicated excellence and on-time service, and keeping the family atmosphere that makes this company a great place to work. Over time, the company developed and acquired capabilities such as dedicated and regional truckload services, warehousing, brokerage, and maintenance, forming Brown Integrated Logistics as it is today. While the trucking and maintenance businesses are focused in the Southeast, Brown is proud to be a trusted warehousing and brokerage partner all across the United States.
